SHAKE THE DUST
An Embodied Movement Practice including:
Yoga | Shaking | HIIT | Dance | Kundalini
Shake the Dust is more than just a workout- it’s a transformative, embodied practice for your body, heart, and mind.
Each session invites you to shake off what no longer serves, personally and collectively, and to reclaim your body as a powerful tool for change. Guided by a poetic theme and an epic playlist that guides you through waves of perpetual motion, shaking, jumping, deep rest, dancing, intuitive movement, plus elements of yoga, pilates, somatics, and bodyweight strength work.
This is a space where movement becomes a statement, where you can sweat, release, and build a resilient body while also grounding into the values and vision for a better world. This is a practice for ALL. Whether you’re a yogi, a seeker, or simply ready to move with purpose, Shake the Dust is your invitation to take up space, break patterns, and come alive.
“Don’t get Stuck where it’s comfortable!”
~Satu Tolomeo
What to Expect:
Your practice takes place on your yoga mat
We begin with arriving fully and dropping into our bodies
A carefully designed soundscape guides your journey through various movements
Each song introduces a new movement pattern that can be modified and explored to allow for your own expression, energy level and creative flow
At times the energy increases to build heat and strength, at other times it slows to allow for integration, and interoception
Together we flow through a journey of movement and stillness, arriving refreshed and whole in our hearts, minds and bodies
Somatic practices invites people to reconnect with their bodies as a source of wisdom, healing, and self-expression, offering a holistic “bottom - up” approach to well-being.

On SHAKE THE DUST:
I attended a Shake The Dust class in Copenhagen, Denmark in February of 2025. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I loved the idea of blending multiple modalities; some that I already knew and loved and others new to me. I figured I would check it out and do what I could! That was the best decision as I was blown away by the power of the class to engage all layers of self. It was a workout, a party, a gentle coming home and an emotional release all wrapped up in community and set to a groovy playlist.
In December of the same year I went back to Copenhagen to formally do the Teacher Training Program with the founder Satu Tolomeo and her Authentic Flow tribe.
It is now my deep honour and pleasure to share this practice, with you! Come as you are, do what feels right for your body and see what unlocks. Each experience, class and playlist is unique.
I can’t wait to see you there!
What People Are Saying
“My 3rd time attending (a day retreat). I’d like to call this “The Great Reset”. I always get so much out of each retreat.
Today gave me so much clarity as to a part I’ve been dealing with. The Shake the Dust practice really helped!
Thank you! :)”
— Cassandra E“As someone who rarely asks for help and is always skeptical to try something like this at the risk of feeling or looking silly, I would say, "Stop thinking and just do it!" Jessica is warm, caring, and encourages you to do what feels best for you, no pressure.
10/10 would recommend!”
— Breann R
“Your Softening into Self Love retreat was a beautiful blend of healing modalities. You fit a lot into 4 hours!!
I loved the Shaking the Dust piece - it felt like 'free form' meditation. The wrap up, picking a card, and the lovely thoughtful giveaways topped off an afternoon of healing, restoring and a reminder for me to explore my ' holistic tool box' which I haven't fully tapped into for a number of years. So thank you for being there when I decided it was time to embrace self care.”
— Sandra D“Each piece of the afternoon flowed into the next, giving us practical breathing and movement practices to help us manage our lives. Jessica created a safe and caring space to share.
I really liked the breathing exercises and the shake the dust practice was very powerful!”
